Mango
Spain – Europe’s largest producer of Mango
Spain is the only major mango producer in Europe. Spanish mangoes are left to ripen naturally on the tree before harvest, which give them superior taste and aroma compared to imported tropical mangoes picked early for shipping. Different mango varieties are cultivated in Spain, primarily in Andalucia thanks to the subtropical Mediterranean climate in this area.
